अँग्रेजी में तीन article होते हैँ a, an, the . A की हिन्दी होती हैं एक An की भी हिंदी होती हैं एक the की हिन्दी होती है यह और वह। जब कोई शब्द vowels से शुरू होता है यानी कि a e i o u हो तो इससे पहले an लगाते हैँ For example an Apple, an elephant, an inkpot an orange, an umbrella जब कोई शब्द consonant से शुरू होता है यानी कि b c d f g h l m n p q r s t b w x y z तो इससे पहले हम article a लगाते हैं । for example A bat, a cat, a dog, a kite, a parrot, a nest, a mango.
